ATX Hack for Change

St. Edwards University

What's Inside...

Have a big idea, but don’t know how to make it happen? ATX Hack for Change is here to help. Hosted by St. Edward’s University, the City of Austin, and Open Austin, this free annual event aims to bring people together to tackle big problems facing our city. The three-day hackathon focuses on social good projects from creating mobile apps that streamline volunteer work feeding the homeless to aggregating data for where our sidewalks should be built. Last year, the Austin EcoNetwork participated in the hackathon to get our interactive“Notes” feature built.

If you have a project idea, you can still submit it to ATX Hack for Change. The deadline has been extended to May 23rd. And if you’re a hacker with valuable skills that you’d like to share, you can register to attend the hackathon here>>
