A Multi-cultural Family Green Festival to celebrate Earth Day and Día del Niño at The Magellan International School, 7938 Great Northern Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78757. Event is FREE and open to the public, invite your friends!

Green Gate Farms Tent & Eco-Art Tent 10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.
Organic, fresh greens and local produce. Learn more about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Ten Thousand Villages, Purse & Clutch, and other local artists will offer works of fair trade, household and garden eco-art items. Bring your shopping bags!

Little Miss Recycle will collect electronics that cannot be disposed of through standard channels. Items accepted: Computers, telephones, cell phones, cable/wire, printers, flat screen monitors, CD/DVD players, modem/routers, remote controls, power supplies, iPods, gaming systems, GPS devices, and headphones. Items NOT accepted: Non-electronic items, televisions, CRT monitors, car batteries, or appliances.

Hosted by The Magellan International School which won the Green Ribbon School Award in 2011 and integrates green initiatives throughout its multi-cultural, multi-lingual curricula. The school strives to be a zero-waste campus and is co-hosting this annual event with Little Miss Recycle  to inspire and educate the community.
