350 Austin Group Hike

From 350 Austin –
Please join us for our first 350 Austin outdoor outing. People cherish and protect nature more if they spend time out in it. It’s also a great way to reduce stress and spend time socializing with friends and to meet new people.

Time: 8:30am
Location: St. Edwards Park – we will meet at the parking lot.
This park is on Spicewoods Springs, off of 360/Capital of Texas Hwy. The parking lot is 2.2 miles on the left on Spicewoods Springs after you turn off 360. There is a smaller parking area just before this with room for maybe 6 cars. Drive past this to the main parking lot.
It’s an easy hike of 3 miles, with several spots for swimming and wading along the way. People should bring a bathing suit or clothes for swimming / wading if they want.
After the hike we can also stop for a bite to eat at Austin Java or Jack Allen’s Kitchen, both of which are conveniently locate off 360 just south of the bridge over Lake Austin.
