350 Austin recently marked it’s Six Months birthday, so now it’s time to chart our course for the next 6-12 months.
Join the conversation about where we should be focusing this summer, this fall and beyond. It’s time we leap forward to the clean energy economy that works for all of us!
About 350 Austin:
350 Austin is a local, grassroots organization committed to the goals and strategies of 350.org (an organization that uses online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions to oppose new coal, oil and gas projects, take money out of the companies that are heating up the planet, and build 100 percent clean energy solutions that work for all).
Through their efforts, 350 Austin strives to act locally in the global climate movement.
They have three primary goals:
Goal 1: Keep carbon in the ground
Goal 2: Help build a new, more equitable low-carbon economy
Goal 3: Pressure governments into limiting emissions
