Doggie Day

From the Austin Habitat for Humanity ReStore –
The dog days of summer may almost be over, but for the ReStore they haven’t yet kicked off!
We had so much fun last year, we couldn’t wait to throw another Doggie Day this year. We’re partnering with Austin Pets Alive! to host an adoption drive for the four-legged residents of Austin who are in need of a home.
We’ll also feature a DIY demo on how to upcycle t-shirts from the ReStore and turn them into tug-o-war rope toys. Any DIY toys made during the event will be donated back to Austin Pets Alive!
There will be sales on featured pet products, local dog-centric vendors, and fun raffle prizes for those who attend the demo. We’ll also offer FREE pet portraits through our partner, Creatively Involved.
Schedule:
11am – 4pm: APA! Adoption Drive
11:30am – 1:30pm: Local vendors set up
11:30am – 1:30pm: Free pet portraits
11:30am: DIY Dog Toy Demo*
12:30pm: DIY Dog Toy Demo
1:15pm: DIY Dog Toy Demo
*Raffles will be held at the completion of each demo.
