Fermentation Block Party

Music and toys and pickles, oh my! It’s going to be another bumpin’ Block Party at in.gredients.

There are few human inventions we love as much as fermentation, which can add health, flavor and longevity to our foods AND has given us the gift of booze. And we are blessed to work with an incedible number of local fermenters, running the gamut from tempeh to saké. Joining us with samples and demos on the third will be Kala’s Kuisine (with their famous kimchi and fancy fermented Meyer lemons!), Boulanger Fermentations,KTonic Kombucha, Texas Keeper Cider, Blue Owl Brewing and Brazos Valley Brewing Company – just to name a few!

We’ll also be featuring some of our favorite homegrown local musicians to keep things grooving all afternoon, including Ethan Azarian, Josh Blaine of Finding Our Voice, Quinn Taylor Walton and more.

And of course, we’ll provide fun for the kiddos as well! Toybrary Austin is going to be bringing balloons and an awesome selection of toys from their toy library, so the little ones will have plenty to enjoy – even if they don’t yet appreciate the joys of sauerkraut and kombucha!

As always, 1% of proceeds from the entire day will go to our Nonprofit Community Partner, Lone Star Victims Advocacy Project.
