From the Interfaith Community for Palestinian Rights, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, and the Austin Jewish Voice for Peace –

Prof. Mazin Qumsiyeh, a Palestinian Christian biologist, argues that movements towards uniformity, for corporate profit or political power, are threatening social and natural diversity. He believes restoring balance requires challenging ideas of dominance and hegemony. Dr. Qumsiyeh will offer some ideas for faithful stewardship to defend our planet and protect its inhabitants. Dr. Qumsiyeh teaches at Bethlehem University and is a human rights activist, and the founder of the Palestine Natural History Museum, and is a former Texas resident.
