From the Save Barton Creek Association –

SBCA is happy to announce our adoption of a portion of Barton Creek for Adopt-A-Creek! This is a program by Keep Austin Beautiful and the Watershed Department to keep citizens involved in the protection of our waterways by adopting a stretch of a creek for 2 years.

Our portion of Barton Creek is from the 360 entrance to the Spyglass entrance.

For our inaugural cleanup event, we’d like your help to make this committment a success! Join us on September 30 at the 360 entrance to the Greenbelt, and help pick up trash and recycling!

Please bring sturdy shoes,work gloves, sunscreen, a hat, and if you have them, trash grabbers! We will be walking from the 360 entrance for about a mile north towards Spyglass.

Snacks and water will be available. See you there!
