Soil Kitchen

From Austin Resource Recovery –

Calling all food gardeners! Get the scoop on your soil… for free…at this year’s Soil Kitchen! Experts from Austin’s Brownfields Revitalization Office will be on hand to take your samples, which will then be tested for nutrients and screened for heavy metals.

Knowing what’s in your soil will help you safely and effectively grow food crops for your family. The Kitchen will be open April 8th and 9th at the Parque Zaragoza Recreation Center in East Austin.

Information about how to bring your soil sample to the Soil Kitchen is here.
