Farewell Paul Domaruk

I loved this man. He was an angel among us. His contributions to life
(trees and people) were so many during the time he spent with us. I
will miss him. Brandi

On Wednesday May 6 the Austin environmental community lost one of its
shining lights. Paul Istvan Domaruk left this world after a long
illness. Paul was a Forester and Certified Arborist and spent the
last five years working for TreeFolks, Inc. He was instrumental in
countless public tree planting projects and headed up our education
program that has produced thousands of stewards of our urban forest.
He was also a loving husband and father, friend beyond compare and
passionate advocate for justice, fairness and compassion in all things.

He is survived by his wife Lydia, daughter Adalai Cynthia, parents
Rebecca and Peter Domaruk and sister Cynthia Merrow.

Join us in grieving the loss to his lovely family and to our community at large.
