So how do you get there?
Crowds are always crazy for the fireworks, so try taking alternative transportation to the event. Here are a few options:
- Ride the bus or rail. Capital Metro will be running special late night services for the holiday. MetroRail will run until midnight and MetroRapid will run until 12:30am.
If you’re not sure which bus to take to get to the fireworks, you can find out here>>
- Use Austin B-cycle. There are several stations located near Auditorium Shores, so you can be sure to park close to the fun.
A full list of B-cycle stations is available here>>
- Ride your own bike. There is always plenty of bike parking onsite. Plus it’s great exercise.
- Walk. Make an evening out of it and walk along the Hike & Bike Trail to get to the park. Just remember to bring a flashlight for the trip home!
