Looking for other ways to give back to the planet this Earth Month? H-E-B has brought back it’s annual April tear pad campaign, benefitting EarthShare of Texas. 

Here’s how it works:

• Throughout the entire month of April, when you go to check out at H-E-B or Central Market, there will be a tear pad at the cash register where you can choose to add a $1, $3, or $5 donation onto your bill.
• That money will go to EarthShare of Texas, a workplace giving nonprofit that will distribute the money to the local organizations that you love, including the Austin Parks Foundation, Austin Youth River Watch, Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems, Colorado River Alliance, Ecology Action, National Wildlife Federation, Public Citizen, Save Barton Creek Association, Sierra Club, Sustainable Food Center, Texas Campaign for the Environment Fund, and TreeFolks.
