Still have that old Christmas tree hanging around? Give it a new life by recycling it with Austin Resource Recovery. All collected Christmas trees will be turned into mulch, which will be given out for free to Austin residents starting January 19th at Zilker Park. How to recycle your tree:
- If you’re an Austin Resource Recovery curbside customer, simply put your tree on the curb by 6:30am on your regular collection day. Just remember to remove all decorations!
- If you’re not an Austin Resource Recovery curbside customer, you can drop off your tree at Zilker Park on Saturday, January 7th and Sunday, January 8th from 10am to 2pm.
