28 May Seeking Nominations for Citizens Water Conservation Implementation Task Force

The City of Austin Water Utility is asking area residents for nominations to the Citizens Water Conservation Implementation Task Force. A resolution by the Austin City Council requires the task force be made up of 15 members from various stakeholder groups. Representatives are needed from the following under-represented groups: multi-family developments, restaurants, hotels, development advocates, large industrial users, and commercial property management companies. If you would like to be considered, or if you know someone from the afore-mentioned groups who would be willing to serve a two year term (if appointed by Council), please send your nomination to anita.calvillo@ci.austin.tx.us no later than June 22, 2009.
