CodeNEXT, Affordability, Transportation, and the Future of Austin

What will Austin’s future look like? The city’s effort to rewrite its land development code, dubbed CodeNEXT, could end up dramatically reshaping the city we all know and love. And, the city wants your help doing it. From November 16th to November 21st, the city is hosting the CodeNEXT Sound Check at the Linc Shopping Center. During the Sound Check, which as the name implies, will include live music, the city’s CodeNEXT team will be virtually testing different code standards for the public to look at and then weigh in on. But before you go, be sure to listen to our latest podcast (below), all about CodeNEXT and how it affects you.

And if you can only make it to one Sound Check event, be sure to head on over to the Linc Shopping Center (6406 N. I-35 Frontage Rd. Middle Fiskville Road, near Chase Bank ) on Wednesday, November 18th from 5pm to 7pm for the CodeNEXT Sound Check Eco Day. More info>>
