52 Hike Challenge Pop-up Hike: Austin, TX

Join 52 Hike Challenge co-founder Karla Amador on a day hike near beautiful Austin, TX, sponsored by REI, Rowdy Bars & Sawyer!
ABOUT THE HIKE:
We will be hiking approximately 5 miles out and back on the trail. This is a moderately rated hike. We will meet at the trailhead (Please make sure to use the GPS coordinates to find the correct trailhead off of Loop 360) for intros and giveaways prior to the hike. Giveaways provided by our sponsors: Sawyer Products, Rowdy Bars and REI.
This fun out-and-back option that’s about 5 miles is starting at the Barton Creek Trail Access point that’s off of Loop 360. We will hike about 2.5 miles to get to Campbell’s Hole or The Flats along the Barton Creek Greenbelt. There’s also a Tacodeli nearby – a lot of folks hike in to that area, hang out and get into the water, then grab tacos and hike back out. Rocio Villalobos, 52 Hike Challenge leader of the 52 Hike Challenge – Texas Chapter, will be co-hosting this event.
Bring Layers, water, snacks, camera, and 10 essentials.
