Another Kind of Environmental Worship Service

From the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin –

Please join us for a special “We Gather: Another Kind of Worship Service” on Saturday, March 19 at 4:30 pm in the Sanctuary.

The service will focus on faith and environmental stewardship – finding ways to sustain our hope even as we face great challenges. We will alternate between music, reflections on this theme, meditation, stories, responsive readings and prayer.

Together, we will breathe into that deeper, more vulnerable place within, that spark of the divine. Together, we will reconnect with nature and that which is life giving and life sustaining for us and for our world.

Please email childcare@austinuu.org to reserve childcare; however, children are very welcome throughout the entire service. We will have a carpeted area and coloring materials available. We will enjoy food and fellowship after the service in the gallery, as well as find out about effective ways we can protect our planet and the many species that share it with us.
