From the Citizens’ Climate Lobby –

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a national organization focused on passing legislation called Carbon Fee and Dividend as a solution to climate change. All chapter meetings gather at 11:30AM, listen to the national call-in speaker, and plan upcoming actions for the month until 1:30PM. Choose the meeting most convenient or the one corresponding to your congressional district.

There’s never been a better time to lay the groundwork for congressional action on climate change. This week’s IPCC report makes it clear: we must ACT.

You are invited to attend one of our local chapter meetings this Saturday, 10/13. Ideally you would go to the meeting corresponding to your congressional district (find it here) but feel free to attend whichever meeting is most convenient for you. You will find the “Action Sheet” for our meeting attached below.
Potluck and socializing begin at 11:30 (but you don’t have to bring anything!), and we’ll listen to the national call at noon.
