Creative Placemaking offers an engaging tool to strengthen dialogue and reflect the authentic character of communities. National leader Ben Stone will share inspiring examples from transportation projects around the country. He’ll suggest how Austin agencies, artists and arts organizations can get engaged in the movement. Creative placemaking advocates that transportation and community development projects benefit from the participation of artists at the onset and throughout. The result is city streets, transportation experiences, and public space that welcome us all.
