Formerly known as Solid Waste Services, Austin Resource Recovery provides residential curbside collection of trash, recycling and yard trimmings in the City of Austin. Additional services include sweeping streets, collecting dead animals, operating a drop-off center for household hazardous waste and collecting bulk items and large brush.

The DEA’s 16th National Drug Take-Back is this Saturday! 💊💊

Plan to drop off your unused or expired prescription medications at the Austin Recycle and Reuse Drop-Off Center (2514 Business Center Dr.) this Saturday, October 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!

Remember: Unused prescription drugs thrown in the trash can be retrieved and abused or illegally sold. Unused drugs that are flushed contaminate the water supply. Proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.
