Juneteenth Eastside Ride

LET’S RIDE!
We’ll meet up for pre-ride formation at 8:00am at Huston-Tillotson University. We will have a stretch and warm-up session led by fitness expert Dionne Ross. The ride starts at 8:30am and the route will be approximately 5 miles as we tour East Austin.
The bike tour will stop at significant African American landmarks in the neighborhood along the route.
You can ride your own bicycle, or one can be rented courtesy of Austin B-cycle. The bike tour will be led by hip artists and community activists RIDERS AGAINST the STORM (RAS). To keep the energy level high and your blood flow pumping – we’l ride along to the best music of Michael Jackson and the 80s! #dontstoptilyougetenough
At the conclusion of the bike tour, we’ll celebrate and network with breakfast tacos, sausage wraps and fresh fruit provided by Glorious Barbecue Catering and cool refreshments from Make My Day Ice!
