Open Volunteer Opportunity: Gus Garcia Tree Love

From the Austin Parks Foundation –

Join your friends, neighbors and fellow park-lovers as we give back at Gus Garcia Park by mulching newly-planted trees that need this care to grow!

The group will mulch a group of young trees, a vital activity for the long-term support of our beautiful trees in Austin, especially as the heat of late summer sets in.

We will provide tools, gloves, and fresh, cold drinking water – please bring your own water bottles to reduce waste. We will also provide music for motivation and KIND bars for snacks!
