Pelosi, Back The Green New Deal!

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, will be in Austin for a fundraiser for the Travis County Democratic Party. She recently spoke derisively of the Green New Deal (GND), saying, “The green dream, or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, they’re for it right?”
350 Austin, the Austin Democratic Socialists Eco-Socialist committee (ecosoc@austindsa.org), the Texas Drought Project and other groups want Pelosi to know that we support the #GreenNewDeal and the Sunrise Movement.
Bring signs, banners and noisemakers. Let’s respectfully ask her to join us. It is time for a #GreenNewDeal!!
