SBCA Creek Crew Kickoff Event

We are hosting the kickoff for our new young professional volunteer group, SBCA’s Creek Crew, on January 20th! Creek Crew will also be a friendly community; members will be invited to exclusive social events and outdoor excursions as thanks for your volunteerism. Volunteer efforts will help support the mission of SBCA, to conserve the watersheds of the Barton Springs Edwards Aquifer. This will be an opportunity for young professionals to cultivate skills in community outreach, environmental education, environmental advocacy, and urban environmental management.
For our kickoff event, we’ll start with a hike on WQPL’s Slaughter Creek Trail (conditions permitting), then move on as a group to a nearby brewing company. We’ll discuss ideas for professional trainings, plans for our first group outing, and more!
