SFC Spice it up: Turkish Cooking

Traditional Turkish cuisine features budget-friendly ingredients and cooking styles that any home cook can master. Join guest teacher, Ayse Koroglu, to learn about Turkish culture and cooking. A native of Turkey, Ayse will teach you how to make sure-to-please traditional Turkish dishes using a variety of seasonal vegetables, warm spices and minty herbs, including Highland Soup, Lahmacun (Turkish-style pizza) and Eggplant Salad. Tickets can be purchased here.
Sections of this class will include optional hands-on participation, so if you want to help prepare food please dress appropriately for the kitchen (closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes, hair tie for long hair). We will sample what we make, but it might not be a complete meal.
