“Shades of Green” Environmental Talk Radio on KOOP 91.7FM (Democracy Awakening Rally and March)

Join us for this week’s edition of “Shades of Green”, Austin’s only live, green talk radio program, on KOOP 91.7FM and streaming online!

This week, we’ll discuss the Democracy Awakening rally & march at the Texas State Capitol. This event is part of a nationwide mobilization to demand action to create a democracy of, by and for the people, mobilize to call for solutions that protect the people’s right to vote, and prevent our voices from being drowned out by big money. The movement demands an end to a system dominated by corporations and the wealthy and a system that prevents the country from addressing its greatest challenges – from inequality to climate change, from providing health care to all to ensuring everyone is paid a living wage.
