action party

Hosted by the Sierra Club and Patagonia –

Hey guys! The Sierra Club Lone Star Chapter has teamed up with Patagonia Austin to host a fun little shin dig to promote funding for Texas State Parks!

We Austinites just can’t live without our beautiful green spaces and this is the perfect way to close out summer and show your support!

Come eat, drink, learn and socialize to the tunes of local Austin band, KITES!

A very special THANK YOU to:

Patagonia Austin – Awesome event space and snacks
Hops and Grain – Tasty beer
The Austin Winery – Vinoooo
Kevin Good – Speaker (Texas Parks & Wildlife Department)

The main goal of this event is to educate the community about the upcoming November election that will have some important propositions on the ballot regarding funding for our state parks and some flood infrastructure initiatives. We want everyone to know that they have a voice, and that this vote is the easiest and most direct way to make yourself heard! Let’s change the way we think about political issues and make it fun and social to be a part of of it all. We can’t wait to meet everyone!

P.S. Patagonia is dog friendly and this event is free. 🙂
