Start of Summer Clean Up parking lot event!

Recycled Reads is partnering with Goodwill of Central Texas to help you clean up your home!

Bring your: Shredding, Books, Household Items/Clothes, Batteries to Recycle! See rules below, and sign up for your spot!

• No household chemicals, paints, recycling (except batteries), magazines, or garbage.
• You may sign up for one Shredding spot, and one Goodwill Donations spot, and one Book Donations spot. Multiple spots for any of these under the same name will be deleted.
• You may drop off your batteries without reserving a spot.
• This will all be in the parking lot BEHIND Recycled Reads.
• No cars may enter the line after 4 PM.

• Shredding:

Each car signed up for shredding is allowed to bring two standard sized* boxes or paper grocery bags of paperwork to shred.

• Book Donations:

Because of the volume we expect, please only bring up to 5 boxes of books, in standard sized boxes* with lids (you can also use paper grocery bags or HEB bags)

• Goodwill Donations:

Because of the volume we expect, please do not bring more than one passenger vehicle or truck (ie. no U-Hauls) with donations.

• Batteries:

Please do not bring more than one standard sized* box of batteries to send to Austin’s Resource Recovery.

*Standard size boxes: no larger than 18″ x 12″ x 12″ h – or a standard copy paper sized box. With lids, please
