Volunteer Seeding and Guided Hike on the Water Quality Protection Lands

From the City of Austin Wildland Conservation Division –

Join the City of Austin’s Water Quality Protection Lands biologist Devin Grobert to help spread native seed on the WQPL’s Searcy tract to¬†establish strong, native grasslands that improve water quality and quantity in the Barton Springs recharge zone. Finish things off with a guided hike to learn about the land. Please wear sturdy closed toe shoes, long pants, and bring a refillable water bottle.

On FM 150 near FM 2770 in the Kyle, TX area. Directions will be emailed to you when you register at austintexas.gov/wildlandevents.
