This Sunday: The Journey of Environmental Stewardship — Part 3 “Theology”

Local Creation Care expert Reverend Leigh Jackson walks the walk of eco-stewardship daily. Since 2007 she has been living on site at Still Waters spiritual retreat center, a 67 acre tract of natural land 12 miles south of downtown Austin.

At Still Waters Leigh enjoys dream jobs like eco-land management, organic gardening, green facilities management and continuous research of Christian theologies that link to environmental stewardship.

This Sunday, as part of Earth Month at First Baptist Church and part 3 of The Journey of Environmental Stewardship series, Reverend Leigh will lead an hour class that takes people through her own theological journey of understanding creation and the sacred. Leigh will specifically discuss Celtic and Franciscan theologies, and the ways in which those traditions view God and the created world.

You are invited to attend
Class is no cost, open to adults and teens.
