This Woman Is At War… To Save The Environment

Woman At War

What's Inside...

“An artful fable that examines what it really means to save the world, Benedikt Erlingsson’s WOMAN AT WAR is the rarest of things: A crowd-pleaser about climate change.” – David Ehrlich, IndieWire

“Is there anything rarer than an intelligent feel-good film that knows how to tackle urgent global issues with humor? Look no further.” – Variety

These are the reviews for “Woman At War,” a new film about 50-year old Halla, who secretly wages a one-woman-war on the local aluminum industry in Iceland. The scripted film has been described as both a dark comedy and a female-powered story about environmental activism. It premiered in Austin on Friday, April 5th at the AFS Cinema, and there will be screenings throughout the entire week.
