You Can Help Make Austin More Bike-Friendly

Bike Lanes

Are you crazy for bikes? Would you like to help make Austin a more bike-friendly city? Then the city’s Bicycle Advisory Council might be just the place for you.

The Bicycle Advisory Council is a volunteer citizen group that advises the City of Austin on all things bike-related… and they’re looking for new membersYou can apply here>>

A quick note on advisory councils – these groups are important! They’re a great way to make your voice be heard and ensure that you are involved in shaping the future of your city. Also, unlike a board or commission, you do not need to be appointed by a City Council member in order to serve. All you need to do is apply and then be elected by fellow advisory council members.
