20 Oct Filling in Austin’s Sustainability Scene Map

Seems like our Austin’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Lucia Athens, has taken a liking to the beta version of the Austin Sustainability Scene Map that I started awhile back. She, like many others, is trying to get a clearer picture of what Austin’s Green Scene is comprised of. We have many fabulous green organizations and community initiatives, businesses and government resources. We have events, projects, research and many other things going on. We also have some remarkable individuals making all this happen! The map is not at all complete, especially in regard to government resources, but it’s a solid start. With the help of our readers and allies we can develop a more comprehensive version of the map.
Nearly every node on the mind map has a link and some have notes. We just upgraded our mindmeister account so that we can now upload files and images too. Please send suggestions for additions to EcoBrandi@gmail.com and/or request to be a map editor. There are other map projects underway too, but let’s start with this one.
